We have three properties for rent (all requiring a minimum of 31 days rental) at Forest Lake; a territory that is nestled between Lake MacDonald and the Riviere Rouge (white water rafting).
The first property (Escape) offered for long-term rentals only (photos: www.quebecescape.ca/lakeside.htm A large home with three bedrooms, a large open plane kitchen/dining room area with a living room, with fireplace, with windows surrounding the first floor to provide a panoramic view of the lake. It is situated in a very discreet setting with mature trees alongside a babbling brook and is located directly on the lake with it's own wharf, pedalo, and canoe. The first floor has a living room area that has a pool table as well as a second fireplace. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, another with a double bed and the final bedroom has futon available. The lower half of the house could easily provide additional sleeping area for occasional guests. One bathroom with bath/shower is situated on the second level of the house. All amenities provided to make your home away from home comfortable including second fridge on the first floor, washer & dryer and dishwasher. We are offering to lease this property for a minimum of 3 months for the price of $3000/month.
The second property (Lakeview) is also a pearl lakefront property (photos: www.quebecescape.ca/lakeview.htm ) It is a two bedroom cottage, with it's kitchen/dining room/living room as one large open room. The bathroom is compact and has a shower only. The cottage has a balcony that covers the front and side of the cottage and also offers the facility of washing machine. All amenities and linen included. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and one bedroom has a bunk bed of which the lower portion is one-and half and the upper portion is single bed. The front of the property has a steep staircase and is not suitable for the handicapped or small children, however the lakeside lot is a large lot, with a small wharf with pedalo, as well as a fireplace by the water for evening campfires. Situated at the far end of the lake as well as the last house on the road (your neighbours is the forest!), this property is very discreet and peaceful.
The third property (Woodlands) is situated on a large wooded lot; offers a large private balcony discreetly landscaped with mature trees. (Photos: www.quebecescape.ca/woodland.htm ) This lovely cottage is a romantic one bedroom, however, the entrance room can easily be supplied with two (2) single beds and the living room has a pull-out double sofa-bed. The kitchen/dining area and living room are shared in one room. The bathroom has a full bath and shower. This property has access to the semi private beach, park and boat mooring area where we keep our canoe/pedalo.
Finally we have the Homestead cottage, a new addition, which is a large rustic cottage with all of the conveniences of home. Three double-bed bedrooms; a large living room, kitchen-dining room, full bathroom with bath and shower. This cottage has a large balcony where you can sit out and enjoy the natural setting, as well as access to a campfire site for evening fires. Access to a semi-private beach (with sand) for members only that offers a raft for swimming and diving purposes. The property is a wooded lot with mature trees that provide a discreet shaded setting for the occupants. This cottage also offers access to the lake at the site where members keep their peddleboats and canoes. This property is a new addition to the cottages offered and although photos are not up on our website; they will be soon available. Ideally, it's a must see.
