Cozy and family oriented waterfront 4-season cottage on magnificent large Lake Bernard with 50 km in shoreline and 22 uninhabited islands, is located 45 minutes north of Ottawa, close to Wakefield Village with many tourist attractions and boutiques, and 6km to corner store.
In summer, fishing and boating are two most exciting water activities on beautiful lake Bernard. We catch small and large mouth bass, pike and barbotte. The association has been, for the past 7 years, putting trout in the lake. Fall also has beautiful scenery with the changing of the leaves. Now for winter, we have ice fishing and many lines fixed up for this sport. You can go walking on your snowshoes, you can go on cross-country skis, go tobogganing on the hill next to us. There are ski resources close by at Vorlage, Edelweiss & Mont Saint-Marie.
To make your stay more enjoyable and entertaining, we provide various on-site outdoor and indoor activities. We have a volleyball net and ball, and a horseshoe pit, a beanbag game, croket set, a swing and slide set for the children with many games and toys a child's swimming pool to keep everyone occupied. We have also 3 fire pits, one on the waterfront, one on the patio, one on the side of the cottage and one fireplace in the living-room. We have a paddleboat and canoe with lifejackets for our guests' entertaining on the lake. For passionate golfers, it is also ideal and fun going to close-by Edelweiss and Mont-St-Marie golf course.
We have a very spacious play/recreation room in our basement where you can enjoy your music and watch television. Dial up internet is also available. We provide our guests with a card table and texas hold em games. Dart game is also in our basement.
Come and relax with your families and friends. You may also arrange stressless retreat with your co-workers and have fun anytime of the year. We will try to make your vacations and holidays most pleasant and memorable. |

From May to September, reservation priority is given to weekly renters. Weekend renters would have to book their dates two weeks in advance if they are available ( please check calendar).
Notes:
(1) Check-out time will be no later than 12:00 at noon and check-in time will be no earlier than 17:00
(2) A 50% NON REFUNDABLE deposit (Interac email money transfer is preferable) is required at the time of reservation. The balance must be received when keys are provided.
(3) A $100 security deposit (cash only) is required and will serve as guaranty in order to ensure that the condition of the cottage is the same as it was upon your arrival. It will be returned once an inspection of the premises is satisfactory.
